.                 Chikhaldara
       The scent of coffee enchants you as you enter the hill station city of Chikhaldara in the state of Maharashtra. Being the only coffee growing area in the region, Chikhaldara also boasts of beautiful lakes, breathtaking panoramic viewpoints and exotic wildlife.
        At an altitude of 1118 m, Chikhaldara is one of the most favourite summer retreats among the nearby and far. It has a large number of attractions to offer and is mostly one of the best places to visit if you are in search of time to be one with nature.
Chikhaldara is a hill station that is featured in the epic Mahabharata. It got its name after the Pandava Bhim killed a demon Keechak in a herculean battle and threw him in this valley.  
           Chikhaldara is blessed with a rich flora and fauna, viewpoints, waterfalls and lakes that makes it an ultimate destination for enjoying a weekend holiday and picnic. The scenic beauty of the place can be witnessed from Hurricane point and Devi point.
                 Bhimkund
             Bhimkund is a Natural blue water tank located at a distance of around 78 km from Chhattarpur district, on the way from Chikhaldara to Pratwada. An old mythological goes that Bhim killed Kichaka and threw him in this valley, giving it the name Kichakdara.
    
              Panchbol point
         Panchbol Point is a famous tourist spot in Chikhaldara that lies close to the Bir Lake. The main speciality of this point is that when someone shouts here, the sound is reflected back and heard five times. Hence, this place is named as the Five Echo Point or Panchbol Point. This area is mainly a deep valley formed by four mountains, along with waterfalls.
              Mozatri village
      Mozari is a small Village/hamlet in Chikhaldara Taluka in Amravati District of Maharashtra State, India. It comes under Mozari Panchayath. It belongs to Vidarbha region . It belongs to Amravati Division . It is located 80 KM towards North from District head quarters Amravati. 629 KM from State capital Mumbai
.                         Bir lake
The Bir Lake is an artificial Lake made during the reign of the Britishers in India, at around 1890. It was built almost 120 years ago. Basalt has been employed to build this lake which was once used as a source of supply to the town of Chikhaldara. There also exists an old garden nearby; however, it is no longer maintained.
.              Gavaligud fort 
         Gawilghur was a well-fortified mountain stronghold of the Maratha Empire north of the Deccan Plateau, in the vicinity of Melghat Tiger Reserve, Amravati District, Maharashtra. It was successfully assaulted by an Anglo-Indian force commanded by Arthur Wellesley on 15 December 1803 during the Second Anglo-Maratha War.
           There is no railway station in Chikhaldara. The nearest railway station is in Amravati which is 100 kilometres away. From there you can get a bus till Chikhaldara or hire a taxi.
